The Shooting Sports & Wildlife program provides a variety of opportunities to guide and facilitate youth learning and leading!

Coordinate and/or develop a sustainable shooting sports program in partnership with youth, parents, community partners, and 4-H staff.
Create a safe, consistent, and positive environment for learning about shooting sports and wildlife while teaching knowledge and skills to youth in a specific shooting sports discipline (air rifle/pistol, archery, shotgun, muzzleloading).
Create a safe, consistent, and positive environment for learning around wildlife, outdoor education and natural environments.
Volunteers act as a guide or facilitator of the learning environment by promoting active engagement where youth make their own decisions and set goals. Learn more about goal setting and planning strategies on our group management page.
