Fundraisers provide an opportunity for youth to learn new skills while generating funds for the use of the program. To support volunteers in ensuring these experiences are educational and align with our organizational priorities we have developed fundraising guidelines.Â
Fundraisers done on behalf of 4-H should:
develop learning and life skills for youth members
generate funds for educational or community service purposes (not personal use)
benefit the whole membership
follow our financial practices for handling income at a fundraiser
align with our risk management and safety guidelines
Before conducting a fundraiser be sure to read the entire guidelines which can be found here.
