Service projects provide an opportunity for youth to learn new skills while giving back and impacting their local community. To support volunteers and youth leaders in designing and leading projects we have these resources available.
Service projects done on behalf of 4-H should:
develop learning and life skills for youth members
be designed and led by youth
connect to local, regional and statewide needs
Making treats and obstacles for animal shelters
Planting trees at local parks
Host a food drive for your local food shelf
Adopt-a-highway roadside cleanup
Helping at local community events
Cards or table centerpieces for nursing homes
First responder care packages
Connect with our statewide service projects designed and led by our State Ambassadors
